The Wagyu Hanger Steak, also known as butcher's steak, is a cut of beef steak prized for its flavor. Similar to a skirt steak but shorter and thicker it is popular to grill and slice thin.

I’m a bit of a steak snob, having spent the last two years trying to perfect pan seared and grilled steaks. I usually stick with Filet, Ribeye, or NY Strip. Hanger was new to me and I couldn’t find it anywhere. Fast forward to now, and I can say this steak was the best I’ve ever had. The richness of a ribeye, the tenderness of a filet. I used a bit of black truffle sea salt which pushed it even further. Getting ready to order more!
For some time the hanger steak was known as 'the butcher's cut'; hidden from public view and saved by the butcher to be enjoyed by him (or her) alone. And now the cat's out of the bag! Glad you enjoyed and come on back for more.
