How is it that you've ordered MANY MANY times and never left a review until now...only to give us a 1 star for one package of filet tips? This hurts our feelings and makes us sad :( :( (frowny faces)
To address your concerns : Filet tips are the tip ends and extra bits produced during the trimming of whole tenderloins. Some pieces are the flat end which may seem a little soft or 'mushy'. Not every piece is like this but I would never put a piece in the bag that I wouldn't want to eat myself. That's my guarantee!!
Regardless, filet tips are WAY cheaper than the actual filet so I suppose now and then there might be a piece that is less than amazing. (but only rarely!!)
The ground beef has never changed. We grind it twice, always have and always will. I'm not sure why you think it's 'paste' but we haven't changed anything in our process but I'll keep an eye on it!!
Perhaps in the future you'll be willing to favorably review one of the many products you order so that we may be happy and overcome with joy :) :) (smiley faces)
