Holiday Guide 2020

Well, it’s getting close to that time of year.  Colors are changing, snow might be falling for some of y’all and the most savvy of shoppers are waiting in anticipation for the upcoming holiday and deals.

For us here at the farm, winter in Chipley, Florida means temps that can actually dip below freezing and hopefully our share of crisp, bright and sunny days.  And while we don’t knit a sweater for the cows we do make sure that all stay healthy throughout these cooler months.

In astonishment to myself as well as others I am attempting to be ahead of the game this year and prepping for the entire holiday buying season.  (drum roll please)....

Arrowhead Beef’s Holiday Buying Guide

Including…

  1. Black Friday / Cyber Monday deals
  2. Schedule for shipments through Christmas and New Years
  3. Gift Cards offered

Item #1 - Black Friday

First and foremost.  We will be participating in the Black Friday and Cyber Monday shenanigans on more than one level.  First, we have listed our deal on the Bitcoin Black Friday deal page (www.bitcoinblackfriday.com), so anyone that dabbles in cryptocurrency can use that payment to purchase our fine meats.

This year promises to be an excellent offer from us for the 4 day stretch of online buying frenzy.  Our deal this year is focused on Wagyu beef and has already been posted on the website.  We are offering 25% off all Wagyu Beef for the entire buying holiday weekend.  Now is the chance to sample those melt-in-your-mouth wagyu cuts you’ve always wanted.

Item #2 - Holiday Shipment Schedule

Very important is the upcoming holiday shipping schedule.  We don’t want anyone to be dreaming of sugarplums and pork chops only to find out that their stocking won’t get stuffed because they missed the cutoff for shipping.

This year is a bit of a doozy with Christmas falling on a Friday.  In theory, when shipping on a Monday, then all UPS Ground 2 Day shipments would arrive by Wednesday.  This would give an extra 1 day buffer to arrive by Thursday before Christmas.

However, because the holiday season is so busy, we don’t want to make any promises that can’t be kept, by us or by UPS.  The official UPS schedule says that there is no guarantee that ground shipments sent on Monday Dec 21st will arrive in time for Christmas.

That means our last shipment day for regular shipments will be Monday December 14th.  We will offer expedited shipping on Dec 21st for anyone willing to pay the extra fee for UPS Air Rates.

These new holiday rates will be charged only for orders placed after Dec 13th for those that wish to have it ship yet in time for Christmas.

We will then be closed for shipping Dec 28th and resume normal schedule January 4th.  That’s right, we will be enjoying family and friends over the holiday and will take a break from shipping until after New Years.

Item #3  - Gift Cards & Christmas Deals

In the very near future I will be making an announcement about our Christmas Deals including the ability to purchase gift cards for your most favorite of people this holiday season.  In addition to the gift cards we will be having new deals on select items that you can purchase for yourself or for those you care about.

And that’s it!  Time to go thaw the turkey for tomorrow’s feast and bake some pies.

Cheers

Tony, George and The Moos
