Notes From The Farm
We are open Dec 15th and CLOSED the week of Dec 22nd to do those winter holiday things.
I am still ruminating on the week of the 29th; but will LIKELY be open that Monday.
This week is scant on inventory, we will butcher again next week but right now I'm short on some things.

I can’t express in the limits of the English language how good this was. My expectations were high, certainly, but when I grilled the T-bone over charcoal with nothing more than salt and fresh black pepper and took my first bite, only then did I understand the quality of this beef. There was a depth to the flavor beyond anything I had tasted in my life. Was it grass, forage? The taste of sunshine itself? The taste of time and care and the intent to do well? All of the above, none? Who knows. What I do know is two-fold: 1) that when this is available again, I will buy greedily, and 2) Arrowhead has a customer for the duration of its life or mine (preferably the latter).

Both cuts were delicious, tender and full of flavor. Do not hesitate to buy from our local farmers for the responsible raised beef.
Arrowheads bacon is the best. It’s got the perfect smoke flavor but not too salty. Their pork belly and beef mix makes great meatball, meatloaf and chili. This blend is a winner.
I hate to say it because everyone will know.
