A little confusing in name, the Sirloin Tip steak is actually cut from the Round and not the Sirloin. No matter, it’s the most tender section of the Round which makes it a fine option as a lean, economical steak. The Sirloin Tip is very similar in taste and texture to a Flank Steak!
